**Jennifer has a special interest in working with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) clients, and has completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Initial Evaluation

This is the first session with the therapist for information gathering and planning of your personal therapeutic process.  This session can be scheduled for 45-50 minutes or 90-100 minutes.  In order to thoroughly assess your situation, a 90-100 minute session is recommended.


Individual Session

Follow-up sessions to address your personalized therapeutic goals and treatment plan.  These sessions are scheduled for 45-50 minutes.  In situations where it is beneficial, longer sessions are available, and can be scheduled accordingly.  


Joint Session

Sessions involving 2 individuals.  These sessions are scheduled for 45-50 minutes.  In situations where it is beneficial, longer sessions are available, and can be scheduled accordingly.

Family / Group Session

Sessions involving 3 or more individuals.   These sessions are scheduled for 45-50 minutes.  In situations where it is beneficial, longer sessions are available, and can be scheduled accordingly.


Group Therapy

Weekly sessions involving 2-8 individuals.  Groups are designed to address issues in a safe and validating environment.  Group content  varies according to the specific goal of the group.  Groups may incorporate emotional, cognitive and behavioral processing or serve as educational seminars.


Skills Training

Weekly group sessions involving 2-8 individuals.  Skills training is designed to teach members the four modules of DBT skills including:  core mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.  Skills training may be offered on an individual basis as needed.


Educational Seminars

Informative group sessions addressing various topics.
